In the Office with The Seventh Duchess
A few of my favourite workspace essentials.

Well, it's about time I gave you a sneak peek at my day-to-day work space; Lion in the Wild HQ! This is definitely one of the most important rooms in our house since I spend the majority of my days here replying to emails, editing photos and videos, and creating amazing content for you, my lovely readers (and a whole lot more!).
My favourite thing in Lion in the Wild HQ, apart from my beloved 27-inch iMac, is my huge white desk. I need an expansive workspace to get creative on since I usually draw my concepts on A3 paper. Plus, it's perfect for creating the perfect #flatlay (Instagram addict, right here). My desk usually stays pretty tidy as I really hate a messy workspace; mess is my creativity killer. The only time it gets a little chaotic is when I have a big day of deliveries; the posties in my area unsurprisingly know my name.
While I always always always start my day with a cup of coffee (or two), my afternoon calls for a pot of my favourite tea. I finally purchased a beautiful glass teapot, a new favourite in the office, which saves having to go back and forth to the kitchen and disrupting my work. I've never really been into tea until recently, but The Seventh Duchess somehow managed to turn me into a big fan of loose leaf tea with their delicious (and stylish) collection. I absolutely love Flor de Jamaica Hibiscus and Vanilla (pictured), Mon Amour French Earl Grey and Radiance Organic Teatox, all of which are high on rotation each afternoon. While I don't usually have sugar in my coffee or tea, if I've got a sweet craving I'll add a little Coconut Sugar, one of the healthiest organic sweeteners.
I love this time of the year when the sun fills my office with a bright natural light, something that lacks during the winter. Before long I know I'll have the air-con cranking and swap a hot cup of tea for iced tea, and I definitely won't be complaining. Of course we'll be moving offices early next year when Brad and I have finished building our new home. I can't wait to decorate it! I'll have to show you the process when it comes around.
