Editing these photos we took at L Hotel's Luna Rooftop Bar was utter torture. It was about three hours before my grocery delivery (I do all of my food shopping online to avoid the constant rush at my local supermarket) and I was starving. Needless to say, sorting through photo after photo of mini gastronomic delights with very little in my pantry was an untreatable agony for my growling stomach, for at least a few hours anyway.

Despite my rumbling tummy, this collection of photographs seemed to take me straight back to the night's spent at Luna Rooftop Bar in Seminyak. Whether you're there to begin a night of festivities or intend on enjoying the whole evening with views of the glittering town, the L Hotel Rooftop Bar is the place to do it in complete style. From the moment you step out of the red elevator on the top floor,  the Luna experience begins with a chic-meets-chilled atmosphere and impeccable service.

If you're after extensive views of the infamously saturated sunset over the Balinese skyline, take advantage of the bar tables lining the western side of the rooftop, or get comfy in one of the deep lounge chairs clustered together for a more relaxed experienced. With full table service, it's not hard to utilise the extensive cocktail menu featuring everything from classic muddled mojitos to unique popsicle creation. It wasn't long after we'd taken our seats (this time at a bar table) that our cocktails were served and an array of tantalising 'Little Bites' (another L-word!) awaited our attention before us. I know you'll trust me when I say that these  canapés were mouthwateringly delicious; they were as scrumptious as they look. Needless to say, Luna's head chef was absolutely spoiling us with his unique array of Asian and Continental flavours.

After witnessing another brilliant Balinese sunset and enjoying a couple of delicious cocktails, Brad and I were ushered to Kitano, also on the rooftop, where we experienced L Hotel's very own Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant (because, you know, we hadn't already stuffed ourselves silly). The super fresh produce and entertaining antics of the young teppanyaki chef makes Kitano a must-experience dining destination.

At the end of our night at Luna Rooftop Bar, Brad and I somehow managed to roll back to our cosy suite at L Hotel without bursting. I don't think either of us had ever eaten that much in our lives, but it was worth it (and pretty much sums up our entire Bali escape). It's no surprise then that we found ourselves enjoying the many delights of this cosmopolitan Rooftop Bar over the course of our stay at L Hotel; the perfect beginning or end to every night in Seminyak.
