Weekends spent with friends are always the best, especially a friend that knows how to take a damn good photo. But hey, that's the blogger-me talking, let's be honest. I dragged one of my besties, Michelle, into the city to take some snaps of my outfit yesterday, as well as to check out the brand new Windsor Smith store on Hay St.

Decked out in head-to-toe River Island, courtesy of Shopping Links, I was feeling pretty fresh on another warm spring day. Light grey and white with sky blue accents and gold accessories is a combination I've been wanting to style for some time, so as soon as I saw this amazing blue tote, I went in search of the perfect grey and white accompaniments. And don't be surprised if you see this shift dress pop-up again over the summer; it's only because I'm completely and utterly in-love. It's one of those special basic pieces that could be styled a million-and-one different ways.

After running around the city, we caught up over a delicious lunch of haloumi and chorizo salads, with homemade ice tea and fresh orange juice. It really was the perfect way to spend a Saturday.
