An Edgy Duo in Sydney

An all-time favourite with Cooper St and Helen of Boho Tailor.

________

It's no secret that the matching two-piece has dominated my wardrobe of late, but this edgy duo by Cooper St has to be one of my all-time favourites. The extreme turtleneck and midi skirt length are features that I can safely say you'll be seeing quite a lot of here on Lion in the Wild over the coming months and beyond. It's these trends that really encompass my somewhat conservative personal style. While I'm not afraid of a cool print, a pop of colour or a shorter length, I have a tendency to be attracted to a higher neckline in my time.

I shot this look with the fabulous Helen of Boho Tailor one sunny afternoon in Sydney after a delicious brunch with some lovely bloggers in Surry Hills. We ventured to Darlinghurst where we found the perfect location to take some snaps (as bloggers do). Despite this being the first time I'd actually met Helen, I felt at such ease with her. I couldn't help but thinking, damn, this girl has the goods. I'll be honest with you, this has to be one of my favourite looks and photo shoots ever.

On another note, I'm currently writing this to you snuggled up in our apartment in Niseko Grand Hirafu, watching the snow fall through the huge angled windows. We're here with a whole bunch of amazing people, all snowboarders, so it's been a lot of fun to hit the slopes with everyone (especially now that the snow conditions are better). I thought I'd better get a little work done today though and rest my aching muscles after a big day of tree runs yesterday, ahem, and stacking it onto my face. Don't worry, it was way more hilarious than it hurt.

Now it's time to get back to some more work so I can shred tomorrow! Happy Wednesday loves!
