I'm just going to come right out and say what you're all thinking.

This is one seriously cool print, and not just because it's blue ( heh-heh, get it?). Needless to say, Bluejuice are kind of (definitely) killing it on the print-front with their latest collection. The power of a damn good print is that it can completely change the way you look at a piece. For example, mini body con skirts haven't been my thing for a  long time, in fact I've kind of avoided them, but paired with a slightly boxy tee, the outfit simply wasn't complete without the printed skirt. Add a pair of fabulous boots and a luxe leather clutch, and you've got yourself one stand-out, slightly edgy look on your hands (or your body).

One thing you may notice this year on Lion in the Wild is that I'm going to try to change my hairstyles up just a little. While cascading straight or waved long hair with a dead centre part has become somewhat of a signature look, I'm looking forward to experimenting and making the most of my ever-growing locks. I'm really into beauty at the moment, from makeup, skincare and hair  styling, so if I do do a different look, I'll be sure to create a video or photo tutorial so you can re-create it. What do you think of the low messy bun with a deep side part? The side part just reminds me of what I looked like in high school and young I still look (thank you baby face).

I tell you what though, it feels good to be back online again. If you follow  @lioninthewild on Instagram, you may know that when I got back from my blogging trip over east I decided to take some personal offline time ( thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your lovely comments, messages and emails - it truly meant the world to me). My family and I lost somebody incredibly dear to us, and it really didn't feel right blogging or posting on social media, as I'm sure so many of you can imagine. I'm quite a private person, despite being a 'blogger', but I did want to be transparent with you, as you've always been so amazing to me over the years. My goodness though, it's wonderful to get back into 'real life'!
