The Wind, My Hair and an All White Outfit
At least the clothes look good.
________
Over spring, summer and early autumn it pretty much never rains here, yet the remnants of Cyclone Olwyn bought a few minor storms, several drops of much-needed rain and, yes, a lot of wind. And while I welcome the rain, despite loving a clear blue sky as much as the next person (we're in short supply of rain, not blue skies), I can't say I'm a huge fan of these gusty winds. Heck, maybe that's just the blogger in me. Or maybe it's just because wind is super annoying. One of the two.
Despite my obvious disappointment at the weather, Brad somehow managed to capture these moments in-between scrunched up faces, closed eyes and hair in here, there and everywhere (including my mouth - yum). He's a genius, really. A patient genius, that is.
And while I probably should've just worn my hair back that day, my Bluejuice outfit seemed to hold up just fine (it was not going for the windswept look that day). It's no surprise really that I ended up with these perfect pieces, as you already know how much I'm drawn to basics with that little something special, like the textured coat or intricate trim on the blouse. They're the pieces that will last a lifetime because they're simply classic without being, well, boring. Not that there was anything boring about this whole photo shoot thanks to my 'friend' called the wind. Luckily, I welcome a challenge.
What do you think of this all-white look for autumn?
