Introducing new Australian label, Huntr, and a little life update.

Happiest of Monday's, my little online family! I hope you all had a much more fun weekend than I did. I'm not one to talk of negativity, especially here on Lion in the Wild, but the fact is, I didn't have the greatest of weekends and it seems I'm still paying for it. On Saturday morning, being the clumsy person that I am, I whacked my head on one of our pantry shelves a little too hard (yes, you read correctly). This resulted in a little shock, a big lump, a killer headache and very sore neck, and I'm still paying for it now.

Needless to say, I found myself on the couch for the rest of my Saturday, despite a productive day planned, thinking what an idiot. I mean, seriously, who the heck manages to bump their head so badly? When did unpacking and organising become so dangerous?

Despite my persistently aching neck and still small lump on my head (thankfully hidden by my mop of hair), Brad and I managed to shoot today's outfit in between downpours of rain. The truth is that it rained like crazy all weekend, so being forced to stay inside for the majority of it was kind of a blessing. Thankfully it seems we'll be enjoying Perth's usual sunshine this week, which means lots of photo shoots for upcoming projects and articles on Lion in the Wild (woohoo!).

While the boots, bag and midi skirt are outfit regulars, it's the white cropped top with it's high neck and curved hem that stole the show. Created by brand spankin' new Aussie label, Huntr, the top embodies all they're about - minimalist sports luxe activewear. Ahem, count me in! I love that their pieces could easily take one from a brisk walk along the foreshore to a late brunch, which, as you know, is what I'm all about. While the top is effortless styled with a chic skirt, it also looks damn good with a pair of workout tights (on my wish list!).

And, speaking of working out, I'm going for a quick jog to the beach to catch the sunset and then back home to make dinner (I'm starved!). Enjoy the rest of your week! And don't forget to visit soon - we've got some amazing content coming your way very soon.
