Burgundy and navy by The Nail Lab.

So, I had every intention to show you these two fabulous colours on my nails, but they're in no condition for a close-up photo shoot of late. I usually have naturally strong, long nails, but the last few weeks they've been thin and prone to breaking. Quite honestly, they look terrible. And then I realised, we've been living in our new house for a few weeks or so now without a dishwasher, which would equate for the whole situation. Hand washing dishes = short, trashed nails, apparently. Thank goodness we're buying a new dishwasher this weekend!

Back to the point. When these two nail polishes by The Nail Lab rocked up on my door step, I just knew I'd be wearing them all winter long.  The Nail Lab 'Sophia' nail polish is the most perfect shade of burgundy; a deeper version of it's classic red counterpart, which makes it a great alternative for winter.

I have to admit, it was the navy  'Robert' polish that had me inspired as soon as I saw it. I don't know what it is, but I have a huge thing for any shade of blue right now. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I just moved to the beach? Or perhaps it's just because navy is one chic and in vogue hue this season. Either way, my nails are definitely going to be coveting it.

Now, if I lived in Sydney I could head straight on over to The Nail Lab in Darlinghurst to get these nails of mine fixed up and made all pretty again. If only.
