Making Up Excuses To Dress Up

Not that we need an excuse, right?

________

Since I seem to work 24/7 these days (well, for a long time, really), it's not too often that I have the excuse to dress up in fancy threads and accessories unless it's actually for work (go figure), but after wearing this amazing Christopher Esber garment a couple of weeks ago, it's definitely something I need to make more of an effort to do. It's all about that special dress feeling, after all. And how could one not feel damn amazing in a dress life this, huh?

Don't get me wrong, I love my job and I love my daily casual vibes of ripped denim and oversized sweaters, but hello, Christopher Esber! Hello pretty pretty dresses. And while I don't believe in needing an excuse to get all dressed up, I'm creating one this evening. Think Friday night date night in with a homemade 3-course dinner, red wine, candles and an Orange is the New Black marathon afterwards (I know, we're just so romantic). It's a surprise though, so sshhhh!

PS. Did you know that yesterday's article was the 500th post on the Lion in the Wild blog?! What an incredible journey it has been, so a huge thanks to all of you for inspiring me, supporting me and keeping this blog going for 500 blog posts! I simply couldn't put into words how much you all truly mean to me. x
