The Matching Navy Striped Two-Piece Set
So, how do you feel about 40°C?

Needless to say, #PerthHeatWave is trending all over the state right now. We all know that when the weather gets extreme on either end of the scale in these parts (not limited to hot weather, but also heavy rain, thunder and lightening, and anything below the unbearable 5°C) it's all us Perthites/Perthians can talk about, so it's no surprise really. You can check out my favourite meme here.
While our very smart investment in an air-conditioning unit has been a lifesaver in temperatures like this, there's only so much it can do. That's where light clothing comes in, something that the unfortunate CBD suits don't get the pleasure of, no matter the weather. Flowing threads any day of the year is just one of the many benefits of pursuing the creative life, ha!
I loved this Three of Something two-piece as soon as I saw it. Sure, I've had a thing for matching sets for, well, years now, but it's the frilly off-the-shoulder detail that really got me. And it's kind of perfect for these stinking hot days thanks to its loose, floaty fit that allows any sort of breeze to cool you down just that little bit. Oh, and it's comfortable - insanely comfortable - which made it a great option for Saturday's catch-up with Ashleigh.
Today I'm actually wearing another light Three of Something piece (worn during this outfit post). I've got so much to do today and I'm still catching up on yesterday's to-do list - yikes! I'm going to need a lot of coffee (possibly iced).
