The Edit: His and Hers Shower Shelf
11 must-have in-shower essentials.
________
I don't know about you guys, but between Brad and I, our shower shelf has become a dumping ground for half empty shampoo bottles and pitiful slivers of used soap bars. Don't tell me you haven't been there. You have. Surely? So, in an attempt to suffice my need for organisation, I've create a Shower Shelf Edit with only our favourite must-have products. The trick is to satisfy both of our showering preferences
without overloading and over-cluttering the shelf. And my goodness, it is one good looking lineup, if I don't say so myself.
________
Let's get the most obvious out of the way, shall we? Cleansing. This is the category in which we have differing preferences, with Brad opting for a bar of soap, while I prefer the luxury of a gel. We tend to switch between brands and products when it comes to body cleansers, but I'm back on-board the Grown Alchemist train at the moment, using my all-time favourite Grown Alchemist Body Cleanser: Chamomile, Bergamot & Rosewood. And it's the Grown Alchemist Body Cleansing Bar: Geranium Leaf, Bergamot & Patchouli that sits in our bamboo soap tray and provides a daily luxe lather.
I exfoliate my body 1-2 times a week (and sometimes even manage to persuade Brad into doing so - winning), so it's no surprise that I have a couple of options. The Frank Body Coffee Scrub has been my go-to since its launch years ago (it's totally worth the hype), which I also use on my face to help diminish any scarring from blemishes and brighten my complexion (my one exception to my fairly new chemical-exfoliators-only rule). On the days I need a more intense scrub, say, prior to tan application, I reach for the Grown Alchemist Purifying Body Exfoliant: Pearl, Peppermint & Ylang Ylang (told you I love the brand) and an exfoliating glove.
Oh, and how could I forget my Venus Swirl Razor and Manicare Nail Brush? Both essentials.
________
My in-shower hair routine is pretty simple; shampoo and condition with a treatment every second wash. Again, I'm not too fussy when it comes to shampoo and conditioner, though I do have my favourites by VO5 and TIGI. Right now, I'm thoroughly impressed by the award-winning Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. I've almost run out of my Eco Coco Hair Treatment, which leaves my hair feeling far healthier than it actually is (I'm in dire need of a trim, if you can't already tell).

THE FACE
Last, but not least, on our Shower Shelf Edit are two gentle products we've also almost depleted; our daily
Philosophy Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser and the
Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash. I don't personally use the latter at the moment, but Brad reaches for it every other day. Who am I to deprive the man of decent skincare?
