I was doing my makeup the other day and I realised that I almost solely reach for high end products, when it wasn't that long ago that I could barely afford to splurge $20 on my favourite foundation (I believe it was by Revlon, from memory). And yet, amongst the shiny bottles and compacts, there still remains several budget go-to products that I could never replace and, even better, cost just a portion of the price -

1. Maybelline FIT Me! Dewy + Smooth Foundation - Sure, it's the perfect colour for my (faux) tanned skin, but that's not the only reason I've been reaching for this foundation. It's dewy and natural, easy-to-blend, and lasts all day long. Its
Matte + Flawless counterpart might be the popular one, but this is a great alternative for dry skin types.
2. Face of Australia Glamazon Contour Kit - It was atop My Top 20 Ultimate Makeup Finds of 2015 and continues to be a favourite well into 2016. In fact, I use the contour powder every single time I wear makeup. My face just isn't the same without it, I won't lie.
