The Flared Sleeve Top and Green Suede Skirt

Making a statement in green with Revolve.

Every once in a while you'll stumble upon a very special piece that you can't help but splurge on, and this was most certainly the case when I spotted the X by NBD Elise Skirt while scrolling through Revolve. Strangely lured in by the unusual petrol green suede and completely sold by the luxe gold hardware, this was an A-line skirt I simply couldn't get out of my head.

You must've heard me go on and on about how much I adore basics here in the past, like a long sleeved black top or a pair of suede booties, but that doesn't mean that eye-catching garments like this aren't welcome. In fact, they're the pieces that truly make a wardrobe (or an outfit!).

I finally got my chance to wear it on the weekend while out and about, and my goodness, did that just make me fall in-love with it even more! One of its coolest features is that the belt is totally detachable, which means you can dress it down by taking it off or wear the belt with an entirely different outfit. Ha, like I needed another excuse to wear it, right?

For all of my fellow Australians, you can get 20% off and free express shipping on orders over $100 at Revolve.com with the code 'AUEXPRESS' (including this amazing NBD skirt!). The amazing offer ends this Thursday, 27th October, so make sure you don't miss out!

On another note, my goodness, have I been busy over the past few months! From a trip to Sydney with MAC Cosmetics to celebrating my 5th anniversary with Brad, I've hardly been able to keep up with myself (let alone my emails - le sigh). And while any downtime is much appreciated, I wouldn't have it any other way. Of course, you can read all about what I've been getting up to this weekend right here during out monthly catch-up, so stay tuned.

Until then, I'm wishing you all an amazing week ahead! x

I'm wearing: Revolve x by NBD skirt, Lulu & Rose flared sleeve top (more black tops here!), small pursegold rings and heeled boots.
