Time Is To Be Shared with Cluse
That festive feeling.
Rewind time back four years for a moment and you'll find us in a white winter wonderland, surrounded by falling snow, Christmas decorations and trees. It looked exactly like what the cards and movies told us December was suppose to appear, and yet Christmas simply didn't feel like Christmas.
Sure, the temperature was about 60°C colder and the food 60°C warmer (we sure do things different in Australia!), but the reason it didn't really feel like Christmas was that we were all missing our families; the wonderful people in which we are so lucky to spend this festive day. Would it feel this way if our families had travelled to Canada too? Probably not.
And so, this Christmas I am teaming up with my favourite timepiece brand, Cluse Watches, to share with you how I'm spending this Christmas (and more importantly, who with!). After all, there's only one thing more precious than time and that is the people in which we spend it.
This Christmas is going to be a little different to our usual festivities and you're about to find out why. We always spend Christmas Eve with Brad's family in the country, where we watch the kids play, eat too much and catch-up on the year. Christmas Day is spent with my family, and while we usually end up there for Boxing Day as well, this year we're actually flying to an exciting wintry destination (more on that soon)!
Honestly, it doesn't really get much better than that, does it? We get to do two of our favourite things: spend quality time with our loved ones and travel!
I'm so looking forward to both equally too, and having some much needed time off work, as it has been the busiest year yet with very little down time. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, but sitting down with my family with nothing else to do sounds just about perfect right now.
What are your Christmas plans?
