The Real Life Shower Shelf Edit
The ones that tick all the boxes.
Alas, 'tis true, I don't believe in monogamy when it comes to shower products. Don't get me wrong, there are brands that I continue to go back to over and over again (Grown Alchemist, Lush and Frank, I'm looking at you), but I'm always down for trying new products and mixing it up a bit.
There are three things I look for in a shower shelf product:
1. It has to look good. I'm a sucker for beautiful packaging, so if it doesn't look good on the shelf, then chances are it won't make the cut.
2. The fragrance has to be tantalisingly good or have no scent at all.
3. It has to leave my hair and skin clean, smooth and soft.
And so, today I'm going to be sharing with you the products that have ticked all three boxes and made it to our shower shelf this month.
First in the lineup is the minimalist Grown Alchemist Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner, which adds a little oomph to my hair, whilst also leaving it throughly cleansed and soft. I always run out of conditioner, so Brad ends up using the leftovers, and this month that is the delicious TIGI Bed head Colour Goddess Oil Infused Shampoo (it literally smells like jersey caramels!). And, of course, my hair wouldn't be the same without an at-home Olaplex No.3 treatment, AKA. the best hair treatment you'll ever use.
On my face, I'm currently using the Divine Woman Lactic Gel Cleanser, an organic product I discovered through my skincare go-to, My Skin Boutique. Once a week I also treat my skin to the Daily Radiance Exfoliating Cream and Frank Body Lip Scrub.
Finally, I can't get enough of the infamous Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel (even Brad, who tends to avoid shower gels at all costs, is a fan of this one) or the super soft and nourishing Lanolips Gentle Cleansing Bar. And, of course, no shower shelf is complete without my absolute favourite, the Frank Body Scrub (the one I've been loyal to for years now - shock, horror!).
