This Season's Cosiest Winter Jacket

See this content in the original post

The shearling biker jacket, of course!

With winter officially upon us in the southern hemisphere, it's time to pull out our warmest pieces to get us through the next few months without the shivering. My old favourites never go astray, with my black beanie, grey marl sweater and skinny jeans being among my most-loved (can you believe I've had this sweater for almost a half decade?!).

And then there's the new exciting pieces that are more than likely going to become favourites in the seasons to come, like the much coveted shearling biker jacket. As it turns out, it not only looks pretty damn cool on the street style circuit, but it's also one of the comfiest and cosiest pieces in my wardrobe. You know how much I'm all about practicality in fashion (well, most of the time).

So, today I'm sharing with you my top five picks to help you stay warm this winter, from the high-end splurges to the more credit card friendly purchases.

SHOP MY TOP 5 PICKS

1. Ruby Sees AllWorn above. The acid wash denim, silver hard wear and faux shearling are just a few of the reasons this is one of my go-to jackets this winter.
2. BurberryA brand synonymous with timeless outerwear, this is one investment purchase you're not likely to regret (especially since it's currently 60% off!). Talkin' about a bargain!
3. MissguidedThis black and brown faux fur lined pilot jacket would make a great addition to your winter wardrobe.
4. Forever NewI am in-love with this cosy cream shearling jacket, which would be perfectly styled thrown over an all-black ensemble (t-shirtjeansboots, a scarf - you know the drill).
5. Ministry of StyleAnother splurge, I can't go passed a cool boxy fit like this.
