My Mid-Week Pamper Session Favourites

With our days spent largely at home for most of us right now, it seems that we have a little more time in our day-to-day to focus on ourselves, whether that be cleaning our houses (you can watch my Decluttering and Organising vlog form the weekend here), catching up on our favourite Netflix series or doing absolutely nothing at all. My choice of poison? A pamper session, whenever and wherever I feel like it, and my goodness, is my skin glowing with joy right now.

Today I wanted to share with you some of my tried and tested skincare favourites that I’ve been indulging my skin with lately, some of which I’ve sworn by for years and others that have only recently found their way into my pamper routine.

1. Summer Fridays

Not just for travel days, the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask from Mecca has given me a much needed hydration injection during these days at home. Goodness knows, I haven’t actually travelled for six-months (a conscious decision) after many years of what felt like non-stop flying, but those were the days I became addicted to the Jet Lag Mask. It became a ritual to apply it as soon as I landed, wherever I was in the world, and I’m not about to give it up. Special mentions to the Overtime Mask, which works a treat at refreshing tired skin.

2. Kiehls

Can you believe that only a couple of weeks ago I’d never actually tried Kiehls skincare? Shame on me ‘cause this stuff is the bomb[dot]com. After adding it into my daily skincare routine less than a fortnight ago, I’m convinced that the Ultra Face Cream and Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution are here to stay.

3. Salt By Hendrix

I’m obsessed with facial oils and SALT BY HENDRIX have the best collection of ultra nourishing products, like the Eye Babe Oil Treatment, Glowtown Hemp Seed Face Oil and StarDust Tonic Facial Serum. I’ve made quite the habit of piling them on and massaging them in with a Face Roller each weekend, leaving my skin impossibly glowy and plump.

4. Drunk Elephant

If you haven’t heard a zillion great things about Drunk Elephant yet, then you’ve clearly been hiding under a rock. This year I finally added a bunch of their products into my revamped skincare routine and I’m loving them all, but especially the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum. I’m thinking about using the A-Passioni Retinol Cream once or twice a week. Have you tried it yet?

5. Dior

It’s been a good couple of years since I started using the Dior Capture Youth Serums, but the Age-Defying Plumping Filler is probably my #1. You know your girl loves hydration and I’m all about hyaluronic acid right now.
