BURST OF SUNSHINE
Can you believe just minutes before taking these shots, Brad and I were huddled under a gazebo desperately avoiding getting completely drenched by the pouring rain? Needless to say, we welcomed the short-lived burst of sunshine, despite the strong winds (spotto fly-aways!). Perth's endless sunshine hasn't been so infinite over August, with only a handful of cloudless days. In fact, it has rained a total of 22 out of 31 days this month, which isn't a bad thing as we approach yet another very dry summer. And really, there isn't anything quite like snuggling up with a hot chocolate, a good book and (in my case) #indithecat. But I can't quite hide the fact that I am indeed looking forward to those beautiful spring days spent under the warm sun, not to mention making good use of the impending Spring/Summer collections.
Now I'm off to, well, snuggle up with a hot chocolate, the latest episode of Australia's Next Top Model (yeah, I'm a sucker for ANTM) and my fluffy oversized ragdoll kitten.
