THE BOARD RIDER

Just a quick sneak peek post that Brad and I shot last week for the trendy Aussie fashion label Lola vs Harper. For those of you not in the know, I've loved skating since my older brother Shane taught me when I was 9-years-old. Being on a board feels so natural to me, which is expected when you began riding at a young age. At sixteen I fell in-love with another type of board riding when my parents took Shane and I on a family trip to New Zealand, where I had my first snowboarding lesson on Coronet Peak. Ever since that fateful I have been making an effort to hit the slopes as much as my bank account will allow. I tell you what though, jumping on my Santa Cruz takes me back to the 'old days' when I spent all of my time on the streets riding (and stacking).

Oh, and wishing all of my fellow Perthies a happy long weekend! I arrived back home late last night from an incredible week in Victoria, just in time for this horrible Perth weather. There's really nothing like home, though.
