VIOLET AND I

After uploading these photographs onto my iMac, I panicked when I realised that my slip dress was showing in almost all of the images. And then I realised, I kind of like it. I feel as though I was channeling the classic minimalism of Calvin Klein circa the nineties, with my own little spin. And heck, who could say no to Mr Klein?

A huge shout out to Violet & I for this fabulous silk shirt dress, which I wore to Rustico's with Bradley last week. Even my girl Brooke, who has legs for days, noted the ladylike just-above-the-knee length. The more I wear this dress, the more I fall head-over-heels for it. Its clever design is classic, elegant and modern; three traits that rarely find themselves in one garment. And the best part? This Violet & I dress is on sale!

While my first instinct was to style the grey dress with silver accessories, I ended up marrying it with hints of gold courtesy of Dex Salon. I chose simple yet edgy pieces, which reveal my personality and style within the outfit. And, of course, my favourite Traped wedges from Steve Madden (I'm never ever taking them off!).
