THE BEACHSIDE LOCAL
Do I look like a local? Because I am. Or at least I will be by the end of the year. I've made a few little hints already on Lion in the Wild and Instagram, but Brad and I are building a house in a charming coastal Perth suburb this year. Aside from the fact that it is home to Brad's local surf beach, we were drawn to this suburb because it has somehow retained its beachside holiday charm. So when the perfect block was made available, we jumped in without much thought (apparently acquiring a mortgage is best done sporadic, what the?).
Needless to say, I'm constantly down at the beach this summer, excited that it will soon be a short walk as opposed to a short drive. I might have to start stock piling the fake tan and sunscreen now.
