Welcome to Guilderton, literally where the river (Moore River) meets the sea (the Indian Ocean). Venture just an hour out of the Perth CBD (give or take) and you'll reach a destination comprised of sandy dunes, a winding river and our bright turquoise coastline. Needless to say there are few better ways to spend a weekend during the hot Australian summer months.

Whether you'd prefer to relax somewhere along the long stretch of pristine white beaches, kayak up Moore River or test your sand boarding skills, Guilderton provides the perfect escape. You know me, long warm days spent on the coast is definitely my idea of a summer well spent (just stalk the Instagram for proof).

It's these quick trips that really make you appreciate our beautiful country, and in particular my home here in Western Australia. #livelovelife
