GLAMOUR REINSTATED
I am currently sitting in the temporary Lion in the Wild office (bed) here in Niseko, wearing thermals and a mens XL sweater, almost forgetting that style actually goes beyond the biggest, baggiest and cosiest apparel you can find. It's evidently a lot more difficult to find any sort of glamour when in the thick of the mountains, unless you find yourself in Mont-Treblant, where floor grazing fur coats (sadly undoubtably real) and matching pill box hats are in abundance. But then again, when has real fur ever been glamourous? I'll stick with my $15 knitted beanies any day.
These photographs definitely remind me of a much more feminine side that seems to not exist in these chilly conditions. There is definitely nothing like an interesting panelled peplum dress and statement necklace to bring out the glam, that's for sure.
