And Then I Fell In-Love

With Khoon Hooi.

A visit to the Park Avenue PR showroom was all it took to make me fall head-over-heels for designer Khoon Hooi, but it was the powder blue asymmetric dress that really stole my heart. And it wasn't just the colour, but the classic crew neck, waterfall skirt and contrast black panel back, that really made this dress something very very special.

Walking around Darlinghurst with superstar photographer Rachel of Alice Liddell before grabbing a coffee, we walked up and down streets and alleys before finding somewhere where the light wasn't too harsh. In fact, earlier that morning we weren't sure whether we'd even be able to shoot since the weather had conjured up a thunderstorm, but where we thought we'd be struggling with rain, we were instead tackling too much sunshine (is that even possible?).

Needless to say, we thoroughly deserved a good espresso after the photo shoot, or at least I'm sticking with that. In fact, I could go a latte right about now. That's the one good thing about Niseko being overrun by Australians (says the Australian); the coffee here is delicious.
