________

Retailing from $9.99, there's no doubt that Puretopia skin and haircare is affordable, but is it any good? Let's just say, if I had've tried the products before knowing the retail value, there's no doubt I would have put them on the high end of the spectrum. Indeed, Puretopia is a very welcome and affordable skincare surprise. And I say 'surprise', as most brands that boast none of the bad stuff (I'm talking no sulfate, parabens, synthetic fragrances, artificial colours and more ingredients often hiding in our skin and haircare) also come with a hefty price tag, which isn't to say I wouldn't pay it for a superior product. After all, who can put a price on healthy hair and skin?

Daily Face Moisturiser SPF, Body Lotion
The Puretopia Whisk Away Rehyrating & Moisturising Creamy Face Cleanser ($9.99)was the first product I used and not the last I enjoyed. I've been quite impartial to cream cleansers lately, as they tend to be more suited to sensitive skin, but this one does more than just clean; it moisturises as well. Containing shea butter and rose hip (yum!), it's no surprise that skin feels rather hydrated after use - not tight and dry at all. Since it's a cream cleanser, you'll definitely have to remove stubborn eye makeup with a makeup remover prior to using it, but trust me when I say, it is worth the extra bit of effort. Partnered with the Puretopia Instant Moisture Skin Quenching & Protecting Daily Face Moisturiser SPF15 ($14.99) (such long names), your last concern will be dryness.

Creamy Face Cleanser, Pure Treatment Hair Mask, Body Polish
Now that the weather has cooled down, I really need to make sure I'm paying more attention to my skin, and not just on my face and neck. The Puretopia Glowingly Smooth Exfoliating & Renewing Body Polish ($14.95) is a nice thrice-weekly exfoliant with a refreshing lime, lemon and ginger fragrance. It feels amazing on the skin, like a DIY massage, if I don't say so myself. It's gentle and produces smooth skin. If you're anything like me though, you'll need something a little harsher to scrub away any unwanted fake tan.

While the ingredients of the Puretopia Soft & Smooth Hydrating & Skin Plumping Body Lotion ($14.95) instantly absorb into the skin and result in ridiculously soft skin, I'm not terribly keen on the fragrance, despite it not being overly powerful. But hey, that's just my person preference, and the truth is, I think I'll be storing this one away for summertime use when my skin doesn't seem to be so thirsty.

Finally, I also tested the Puretopia Pure Treatment Hydrating & Rejuvenating Hair Mask ($12.95), which is quite a thick creamy consistency that is easy to wash out after leaving in hair for 10 minutes. The best thing about this hair mask is that not only does it leave hair incredibly soft and healthy looking, but doesn't weight it down with an oily consistency that some hair products can do (even though I applied it thickly from root to ends).

So, if you're searching for a natural skincare range that is not only budget-friendly, but also has the results to back it up, then look no further than Puretopia.
