An Ombré Shirt and Asymmetrical Skirt

Another go-to silhouette.
________

The shirt, skirt and boots combination is something I've been wearing since I first started blogging. Well, even before then. I just feel so comfortable wearing an oversized top with something a shorter; a silhouette that has become a second skin to me. The truth is that I end up wearing all of my shirts and skirts (and boots) to absolute death, so it's nice to refresh the wardrobe with my personal staples every once in a while (ones without makeup stains, tears and tired surfaces - though chances are I'll still be wearing even those in years to come).

When I discovered the label Rails on Shopbop, I was left wondering how the heck I hadn't been introduce to them any sooner. Their collections are filled with shirts of every kind; fitted, oversized, long sleeved, short sleeved, rolled sleeved, cropped, tied and even shirt dresses. It was the Marlow Ombré Button Down Shirt that caught my eye though, as I knew it was a piece I'd wear a lot.

You already know how much I adore BB Dakota, and since A-line mini skirts seem to be having a moment again (they're super flattering, so you won't hear me complaining), I couldn't go passed the Tudar Asymmetrical Zip Pencil Skirt, though I also have my eye on this Faux Suede Fringe Skirt too.

It's probably already pretty obvious, but you should definitely expect to see these two pieces in many posts to come.
