My Simple Trick to Nourish My Hands 24/7

Dry hands and cracked cuticles, be gone!
________

Do your hands get dry? Do your cuticles crack? Yeah, me too. Well, at least that used to be my hands, until I discovered this simple yet effective little trick to nourish my hands all day, errday. In fact, this technique is so successful that I actually cannot forget to give my hands a little TLC at least twice a day anymore and, my goodness, do they look and feel better than ever before! It works that good and if you've got a few hand creams stashed away, then you'll be able to do it as well with little effort.

So, what is this big, effective, genius idea, I hear you ask? Well, actually, now I feel like I've built it up so much that you're going to be let down, but it does work, I swear (hahah). Put simply, grab your favourite hand creams and scatter them around your house. I told you it was easy. I quite literally have at least one tube of hand cream in almost every single room, which means I'm forever running into them during my daily doings and, tempted by their sweet fragrances, I'm compelled to massage them into my overworked hands (just kidding, they're totally prissy).

In my office, where I spend a huge chunk of my time, I have my Jurlique Precious Rose Hand Cream,  Coconut Revolution Coconut Hand Cream and a new tube of the Grown Alchemist Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream sitting pretty in a big tin mug (and you can read about them in My Favourite Desk Side Beauty Essentials post). Why I have three in there, I do not know, but they're all too damn good to store away. #handcreamaddict

You also know from my Things To Do Before Bed post that I apply the Smith & Co Everyday Unwind Hand Balm by The Aromatherapy Co every night without fail, but I also have the Appelles Sea Buckthorn Skin Lotion (doubles as a hand lotion) next to my matching Hand & Body Wash in our ensuite, which I like to apply after I wash my hands. Using a lotion, as opposed to a rich cream means I'm able to go ahead with my day as usual, without having to wait a few minutes for it to all soak in.

Possibly the second best time (after bedtime) to use a hand cream is when you're doing nothing, also known as watching multiple episodes of The Walking Dead (or whatever tickles your fancy). I currently have the La Mav Nourish Hand Crème and Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme hiding away in our buffet table, or, more often than not, on one of the arms of the couch.

My most recent addition is the Lanolips Hand Cream with Antibacterial, which now lives in my handbag for obvious reasons. I've actually never liked the idea of hand sanitisers and thus have never used one, but Lanolips have transformed the drying liquid sanitiser into a skin softening cream that not only protects, but also conditions hands as well. And if you touch your face as much as I do during the day, then this will become a daily staple.

Are you a hand cream addict like me? What are your go-to hand products?
