Getting Organised: My 2016 Diary Picks
Let's get organised for the best year yet!
________
As somebody who gets a natural high from organising (my makeup drawers, my weekly to-do list, my colour coordinated wardrobe - yep, I'm that person), the thought of planning out a new year is beyond exciting. There's something about setting goals, adding in important dates and mapping out a year that really gets me buzzed. After all, a whole new year means another 12 months of exciting opportunities. For me, having the perfect diary is incredibly important as well, which is why I tend to search high and low for 'the one' each December.
2015 has easily been my most organised year yet, with the 365 Day Journal from kikki.K being my trusty daily sidekick. At the beginning of each week, I mapped out the next seven days with my goals and a big fat to-do list (because, as it turns out, to-do lists actually get me moving) and then modify it as the days pan out. It was perfect for me and the way I work, and it did the job with flying colours (or I did each job with flying colours either way).
It was The Collective 2016 Diary by The Collective Hub that stole my organisational heart for next year though, with its minimalist design, beautifully illustrated inspirational quotes and random affirmations that are sure to keep you on your toes. There's even room to list the important things, like places you want to eat, shop and explore, and things to Google, read and buy. And the best feature of them all? There's plenty of room to write down your goals, big ideas, random jottings and make it your own.
So, whether you like a structured 12-month diary, a similar lined journal, a minimalist design or something a little more playful to map out your 2016, I've searched high and low for the very best diaries, planners and journals, from Moleskine and Smythson to Kate Spade and Lanvin, to get you through the New Year and achieve all the amazing things you're made to do.
