The Limited Edition Candle You Need to Buy Yourself

With the most romantic day of the year looming, I wonder why we put aside a whole day to show our loved one how much we, well, love them, yet can't manage to do that for ourselves? Even just thinking about dedicating a whole day to myself sounds ridiculous and amazing. When was the last time you did that? Never? Yeah, me too. And we don't even have children yet, ha!
When I spotted the new limited edition Glasshouse Rendez-Vous Triple Scented Candle in all of its metallic gold glory, I was completely transfixed. Is this the most beautiful candle I've ever had? Oh yes.
There's something about it that makes me feel like I should use it for a special occasion; a whole 24-hours just for me. After a day of doing all my favourite things (coffee drinking, beach dipping and a movie marathon, I assume), I'll burn my favourite candle while I indulge a long soak in the bath, read a novel, drink a glass of rosé and eat a box of chocolates.
Who else just found themselves in a dream-like haze? Oh, the things I would do for one day of 'me' time. In fact, I'm feeling so inspired that I just booked one off in my Calendar in two-weeks. If that's what it takes, then I'm going to do it (even if it isn't on Valentine's Day).
If the glowing golden vessel isn't enough (c'mon, stop kidding yourself), then you'll fall head-over-heels for the sensual fragrance of a white floral bouquet, sugar cane, orchid, gardenia and neroli. It's romantic, graceful and erotic, and the moment you get your hands on it you'll be making moves to take a day off for yourself too. Or, in the very least, you should try. It's not the type of thing we could ever regret. In fact, it's a bit like exercise in that way, but way more fun.
Now I'm off to make room for the stunning Glasshouse Rendez-Vous Candle on our coffee table. Our living room needs a touch of glowing gold goodness.
