3 Pools You Won't Want to Leave in Ubud
Drinking cocktails and nibbling on refreshments between dips in the pool with The Luxe Nomad.
________
There's no doubting that Bali is the home to many of the world's most famous pools; ones that overlook the blue ocean and others set deep in the green jungle. After all, they're a huge part of what makes the Island of the Gods so popular with travellers from all over the world. There's really nothing better than lazying about by the pool all day; drinking cocktails and nibbling on refreshments between dips in the water. Sounds good, doesn't it?
One of the best things about Kamandalu, apart from the spectacular rice field and jungle setting, is its many pools. So, today I wanted to share with you three of the best pools in Ubud, all conveniently located at this stunning resort.
1. Your very own private pool.
If you're lucky enough to snag a Pool Villa (above), then prepare to be treated to your very own infinity pool on the edge of the rainforest. It is yours and only yours to enjoy from the moment you arrive to your departure (if you have the strength to leave!). If you'd prefer to hibernate in your villa for during your stay, then that most certainly won't be a problem - the pool is generously spacious and the room service delicious. And no one would blame you.
2. The main swimming pool.
Below Petulu Restaurant, in the middle of the resort, lies Kamandalu's multi-area pool (right). Complete with its own café, swim-up bar, water features and sun loungers, the main pool certainly is impressive.
3. The infinity pool in the jungle.
If you're searching for something a little more peaceful, then make your way towards the bottom of the resort and you'll discover the luxurious infinity pool (below) set in the lush jungle of Ubud. There's also a small bar at the end of the lap pool for your convenience, as well as a deck with lounges (because naps are definitely okay here).
