The October Catch-Up: A Quick Trip to Sydney

Our monthly conversation.

Another month, another monthly catch-up. This is the time of the year where I realise that there is less than two-months until Christmas. That's only fifty-five days! [Cue freakout here.] Before we get ahead of ourselves though, it's time that we got together and shared our favourite moments of October. Have you started reading a new book? Did you dine at your favourite restaurant? Or discovered your new go-to foundation? No matter what it is, I'd love to know!

1. Happy Anniversary! Where has time gone? It feels like only yesterday I was 20-years-old, falling head-over-heels for the blonde-haired surfy boy I'd had a crush on for years. Needless to say, the past half decade with Brad has been full of adventure, goal-kicking and more love than I could ever imagine.

2. A quick trip to Sydney. I found myself jetting over to the east coast last week with MAC Cosmetics to celebrate the launch of the ah-mazing Liptensity collection. Expect to see them (and MAC) a lot more around here very soon!

3. The first spring swim. Back home in Perth, we have finally been experiencing some warmer weather, which, of course, called for a quick ocean dip one sunny afternoon. My goodness, the Indian Ocean was absolutely freezing(!), but I know it's just a taste of things to come.

4. A massive book haul. My wish list over at Booktopia had reached absurd levels, so I took the plunge and splurged on a massive book haul (the best kind, right?!). I'm going to be sharing with you what I got over on the @lioninthewildInsta Stories this week, so stay tuned.

5. My healthy skin journey. I've never been more excited about my skin after going to see the fabulous Mademoiselle Skin Boutique, who is officially my #1 when it comes to skincare. In just a fortnight of DMK treatments and skincare, I've already seen a huge improvement in my skin. More on that next week.
