My Relaxing Sunday Morning Routine
Snoozing, drinking coffee and chilling out with Jockey.
As someone who seems to have the busiest weeks (who doesn't these days?!), I can't help but look forward to our chilled out Sunday mornings. So, today I thought I would share with you my usual relaxing morning routine to hopefully inspire you to take a morning for yourself too.
1. Press snooze (let's be honest!). I'm a morning person, so even on the weekend I have an alarm. I like to get up early and make the most of the day, even if that means relaxing! It's a rare occasion (and I very worn out self) to prompt me to not have an alarm.
2. Check the news, emails and Instagram. I know, I know, they all say that the worst way to start your day is to be on your phone, but hey, that's usually how the cookie crumbles around here.
3. Coffee and catch-ups in bed. Wearing one of my favourite Jockey camisoles and matching briefs, I'll get up, make a couple of coffees (if Brad hasn't already) and jump back into our comfy bed to catch-up on our weeks'. This is, by far, my absolute favourite weekend ritual.
4. Get up and do my skincare routine. This is the one thing I do day-in, day-out, no matter the day of the week. I simply just don't feel right without enjoying my usual skincare routine.
5. Make a cooked breakfast. When we eventually make our way out of bed, we like to cook and eat breakfast together (bacon and eggs, of course!).
6. Relax! After cleaning up, there's only one more thing to do - relax! We might wander down to the beach, go outside and read a book or even watch Netflix.
