The Feminine and Flirty Two-Piece Set
Gone are the days of fluro green sets, thank goodness.
Once upon a time, I used to avoid matching two-piece sets like the plague, much to my mum's dismay. There was something about those 90s leopard or bright green floral sets she forced me to wear that did not sit well with my tomboy, cargo-pant-loving self.
Almost a couple of decades later and things have changed quite dramatically - no cargo pants in sight. Plus, I'm really, really into matching two-piece sets, especially in the summertime. I guess it comes as no surprise that this Elliatt set has become a favourite of mine this season then, lace and all.
The light fabric makes sizzling hot days and long sleeves bearable, while the stripes keep it trendy. Of course, I couldn't help but toughen up this pretty look with my favourite black leather booties and structured cross body bag.
There's no doubting that this matching top and shorts set will make it's way into my suitcase this weekend too, as I tick off a bucket list travel moment of mine; the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland with one of my favourite beauty brands, Tarte Cosmetics!

I'm wearing: Elliatt matching top and shorts, Oroton Forte clutch bag and Acne Studios 'Jensen' boots from Shopbop.
