5 Date Night Beauty Essentials

Ah yes, the season of love is upon us once again, and whether you have a significant other or not, chances are you've got a romantic night out planned next week (or in - Netflix is always a good idea!). Whether you're going on a date with your partner, your bestie or even just yourself (there's nothing better than spoiling yourself!), I've teamed up with Dyson to share with you my five date night beauty essentials to help you feel your very best.

1. When it comes to date night, I like to keep my hair as simple as possible, which usually means long, straight, blow-in-the-wind locks that'll look just as good after the dinner and movie as before.

2. A sultry, smokey eye. When it comes to night time makeup, I can't go passed a gorgeous smokey eyeshadow look that really draws attention to my eyes, regardless of whether you're going for a cool combination of greys and blacks or warm with golds and browns.

3. Nude lips. Date night generally involves a lot of eating, drinking and talking, and not a lot of time for lipstick touch-ups, so I almost always prefer a low maintenance nude lip. And, as a bonus, it's the perfect pairing for your stunning smokey eye!

4. A bold, eye-catching nail. I might be a blacks, greys, whites and neutrals woman at heart, but I still can't resist a pop of colour for a little added interest. The easiest way to add colour to your look? With a fabulous statement nail! When it comes to date night, I can't resist a classic red or dark pink.

5. Your signature fragrance. Before you leave on your date, don't forget to add a spritz of your favourite perfume to indulge the senses (sounds good, right?!). After all, your personal fragrance can say a lot about you.
