The Striped Off-The-Shoulder Playsuit
The perfect summer outfit for a lazy Sunday.
In today's modern, technology-ridden world, our lives seem to be busier than ever, there's no doubting that. In fact, we probably say the word 'busy' more than any other adjective. When people ask me, "How's work?", I almost always reply with, "Yeah, really good, thank you. Busy, but good". Sure, it's the truth, but I cringe every time I hear myself utter the word.
It's easy to get caught up in the busyness of our everyday lives too. I mean, when was the last time you put your phone down and simply enjoyed a moment? And so, Brad and I spent Sunday doing just that (apart from the odd photo or 20 - #bloggerlife). We walked around Fremantle, savoured a delicious brunch at The Attic and spent real quality time together, something that's kind of difficult to achieve when you live together (watching That '70s Show doesn't count, apparently).
I wore one of my new playsuits (you can see my other favourite playsuit in this photo - how fabulous is that floral print?!), which is actually one of the comfiest off-the-shoulder pieces I have. Give me stripes, a rope tie and comfort any day of the week! Needless to say, I'm kind of definitely in-love with playsuits this summer. They're just so wearable and easy-to-style when the temperatures rise.
I styled my casual weekend look with a hold-all bucket bag and flat form espadrilles, finishing it off with my all-time favourite accessory, a classic fedora hat (no surprises there!). It was the perfect summer outfit for a lazy day in beautiful seaside Fremantle.
And so, while this week is proving to be another 'busy' one (one look at my crazy diary proves that!), I'm already looking forward to spending a little time enjoying the weather, good company and delicious food next weekend.
How did you spend your Sunday?
I'm wearing: Showpo playsuit, Lack of Color fedora hat, Oroton bucket bag, Cluse watch and Nude Footwear espadrilles.
