The Most Beautiful Dress I've Ever Met

Now, take me to the Amalfi Coast.

Pairing a pretty dress with boots comes as naturally to me as eating chocolate (I'm a self-confessed chocoholic). I consider myself very feminine, yet prefer to avoid the overly 'girly', so adding a tough element to anything 'prim and proper' has become my style mantra during my twenties. Got a frilly top? Pair it with boots. A pink skirt? Boots. A flowing dress? Yep, you guessed it. Boots.

Truth be told, I don't believe I've ever met a more beautiful floral dress. Despite its garden oasis print, pleated skirt and lace trims, it has somehow avoided being a springtime cliché. Instead, the round neck, oversized silhouette and gold eyelet details create a very special statement piece. Styled with my forest green clutch bag and faux suede boots (also worn here), this is a luxurious daytime outfit that would fit in perfectly along the Amalfi coastline.

On another note, who else can't believe that the Easter long weekend is already over? Brad and I actually had a super busy four days, spending as much time as possible with our families (and eating chocolate, of course!). I'm sure my fellow chocoholics would understand my love of a weekend filled with chocolate eggs and bunnies, right? You should see our stash - thanks to our fam-bam!

I almost feel like I need a weekend after my weekend to rest up and prepare for the week ahead. I most certainly wouldn't say no to one, personally, but instead I forced myself awake at 5:30AM this morning to get a head start on my never ending to-do list. Thank goodness for coffee.

I'm wearing: Thurley print dress, Oroton Ashbury bag and Billini boots.
