The Wine Coloured Blouse and Black Wrap Skirt
Plus, a little personal update.
I can't even begin to describe how fantastic the weather has been over the past few days. I mean, my goodness, it feels like summer again! Although, I know it won't last long so I've been making the most of it by spending as much time as possible outside (I sit typing this under our alfresco, while sharing a seat with Indi the Fur - we have three, but she insists). Now this is what I call surprisingly perfect April weather!
I know it doesn't necessarily make sense, but there's something about long sleeves and bare legs that has me weak at the knees (well, not literally weak - I've been doing my squats, hahaha). You all know how much I love a good button-up shirt, but I'm really digging this cropped, double breasted blouse for something a little different. How fabulous is that gorgeous red wine shade?!
And don't get me started on just how much I've been wearing this wrap skirt (I told you it would be practically glued to my hips). I feel like I could style it with pretty much anything and, let's be honest, I probably have.
One of my latest wardrobe additions are these super on-trend faux suede bootsfrom Billini. I've been trying to incorporate heels back into my casual wardrobe again lately, so these are perfect for just that, as they're not too dressy.
This week has been so busy already as we complete projects and begin others. We've also been pencilling in some big trips over the next year or so as we put more of an emphasis on travel, which is always very exciting. We've already got several countries on the list all over the world, so now it's time to get down and start planning. The last couple of years have seen us travel less than we usually would, as we put an emphasis on finishing our new house and Brad working towards his career goals. Needless to say, these are exciting times!
I'm wearing: Acne Studios mock leather biker jacket, Ruby Sees All blouse, wrap skirt from Princess Polly, Rayban sunglasses, Rebecca Minkoff bag from Shopbop and Billini Octavia heeled boots.
