We're in Singapore (Shooting Something Super Exciting)!
A little life update and an exciting announcement.
Well, technically we're up in the air somewhere along Australia's Coral Coast at time of writing, but by the time you read this, we'll be sweating up a 'storm' in Singapore (see what I did there, given that it's now the wet season? 😳😂).
It's been three-and-a-half years since our first Singaporean experience and we have been itching to go back every moment since. So, as we gear up for the relaunch of Lion in the Wild - you read it here first ladies and gentlemen - I thought the tropical, modern and sophisticated backdrop of Singapore would be the perfect location to showcase what we're all about. But more on that later.
The main reason I'm penning to you today is to give you a little life update. What can I say? Apparently you want to read more personal posts according to Twitter, which is great since I love writing them. Over the years, I feel as though blogging has developed away from those truly personal, diary entry posts, but I think it's time for a resurgence of where it all began. Who's with me?
The last few months for me have been nothing short of exciting, as we continued to travel and collaborate and create. I was grateful to spend a few weeks at home (and in the office) in October though, spending time with family and friends, and catching up on the admin side of our business. As a self-confessed homebody, I really needed this. And days on end to cuddle with my super cute, super fluffy cat, but that's a given. #crazycatlady
Earlier this week, I found myself in beautiful Bali with two of my best girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and our fabulous friendship (I'm pretty damn lucky to have such amazing people in my life). And work stayed at home for the first time in years. I didn't even bring my laptop. Oh, how we needed this. You wouldn't believe how good it felt! I was so impressed that I was able to start and finish a novel within the first couple of days. It's the small things, right?
While our main objective in Singapore is to shoot all the content we need for our relaunch, Brad and I will also be celebrating the milestones we haven't really been able to do yet due to our crazy schedules - our anniversary and engagement to name but a couple. So, if you're as excited as we are for the new era of Lion in the Wild, you're going to have to wait just a little longer. 😋
I'm wearing: Glassons red floral dress, Oroton bag, Pandora bracelet and Rag & Bone espadrille sandals.
