3 Outfits I'm Wearing This Week
It’s the second week of crazy season (apparently also known as December, but I refuse to acknowledge it as so until the holidays, just saying), so I thought I would share with you three outfits I’ve worn this week so far to prove that, yes, I do occasionally leave the office/my house and I don’t just wear Brad’s oversized shirts 24/7. Oh, but a dream that would be. Just kidding, I love fashion.
Outfit #1
The week started just a little cooler than it has been and I took full advantage of it by wearing my go-to washed black boyfriend jeans, but compromised with a cropped one-shoulder top (one arm in spring, one arm in summer, I like it).
I accessorised with a couple of gold bangles and my new Polène handbag in which I’m obsessed. It’s literally the everyday bag of my dreams, so expect to see it over and over again for the next decade or so.
I also revisited these black mule heels with the giant gold buckle that I’ve had for years and years. Despite the substantial heel, they’re surprisingly wearable/kind of comfy, though I wouldn't recommend taking a long stroll in them. I’ve linked a couple of similar styles below for you, including the exact same pair in the most luxe stone colour.
I’m wearing:
Lovers + Friends one-shoulder top, Cotton On jeans, Polene bag, Arms of Eve gold cuff, Coordinates Collection gold cuff and Mode Collective heels (old, very similar here and here).
OUTFIT #2
I’d had my eye on this flirty floaty floral number for a while and I’m sure glad I added it to cart on this toasty summer day. Okay, fine, I ordered it as soon as I spotted it, but I know I’ll be wearing it non-stop this season and therefore it’s justified.
On this particular day, I styled it up with a pair of simple nude heels, a blush toned watch and the sweetest bucket bag I’ve ever seen (sadly not filled with lollies, but one can wish).
You’ll also spot my usual gold layers draped around my neck. I’ve been wearing Kirstin Ash almost religiously since I first discovered the jewellery brand earlier this year and I don’t have any plans to stop anytime soon.
I’m wearing:
Tularosa floral dress, Kirstin Ash necklaces, Fossil smartwatch, Ora Era bucket bag and Covet nude heels.
OUTFIT #3
Quite frankly, at this point, it would be rude not to induce my week with another blush toned ‘fit. Keep ‘em coming, I say (and they will continue over on the @lioninthewild Instagram, trust me).
And so I introduce to you the cotton candy blouse, in all of its miniature frills, dainty lace and cuffed sleeved glory. So pretty. So cute. Playing up to its ultra femininity, I wore it with a white wrap skirt (it’s another oldie from last year, but I found this one that is almost identical) and white heeled sandals.
I also added a little depth to the look with my mini crossbody bag in the most luxuriously deep vintage tan. How chic are the gold hardware details? You can see it closer up by swiping across here. Gorg.
