1 DRESS 4 WAYS #1

If you're anything like me you strive to make the most out of your clothing purchases (or lack of), and I suppose this is one reason my wardrobe is made up almost primarily of monochrome basics. Last week I purchased the MinkPink Tres Chic dress from Market HQ (thanks for the amazingly prompt delivery!) with its on-trend stripes and super oversized fit. What can I say, the dress was ideal as I knew I'd be not only wearing this dress throughout the coming winter, but also during spring and summer.

I thought I'd take the opportunity to show you just how versatile a dress like this can be, whether you're going on a picnic during the spring or layering up during winter. I'm a massive outfit repeater, but it is always refreshing to change up a look depending on the occasion.

This is the first of four looks wearing the same fabulous MinkPink stripe dress (and the same combination I'm wearing as I write this). Now I'm definitely not the first to layer the crop top over a dress or shirt - the trend has been popping up on some of my favourite blogs - but I can't deny my absolute love for it. Not only does it synch in the waist without the use of a belt (hello, super flattering!), but it looks uber fashion forward without the exclusive price tag. I've been talking about what to wear during Perth winters lately and I must say this outfit couldn't be any more perfect for a typical sunny winters day (such as today). During the day when it tends to get a little warm I could easily take the blazer off, while at night a pair of stockings could easily be added for a sufficient amount of warmth.

Over the next few days I'll be posting the remaining 3 looks with the MinkPink Tres Chic dress, but for now I'm off to spend the rest of my weekend with my wonderful parents. Happy Sunday!
