LEATHER BAGGIES
I'd like to welcome a new friend of ours to the Lion in the Wild team - a spankin' new Canon EF 50MM f/1.4 USM lens courtesy of our resident photographer (who also doubles as my wonderful boyfriend), as a very early birthday present. And I can't tell you enough how ecstatic I am with this purchase after viewing these beautiful photographs. I truly appreciate my partner Brad for stepping up to the plate and playing photographer for some time now - it's been a blessing to watch his eye for photography flourish (after all, it's not the camera but the photographer who takes a great photo, right?).
I mentioned last week my love of anything oversized, boxy and boyish, yet it seems that I've taken my appreciation of such fashions to the next level with Mossman's Ghetto Jogger Pants. With a slight drop-crotch (oh yeah I went there, Man Repeller style), these faux-leather baggies made me feel more 'homie' than ever - not including my snowboarding garb. And despite the peculiar glances from strangers as Brad and I took a stroll along the Mandurah (pron. Man-drah) canals, I've never felt cooler or comfier in my life.
And now I'm off to drink copious amounts of warm lemon water to soothe my sore throat and hopefully kick this silly cold good bye!
