BEAUTY REVIEW: CLINIQUE CHUBBY STICK SHADOW TINT AND ALL ABOUT PRIMER FOR EYES

Up until now, I have never tried Clinique make-up (aside from a mascara sample I bought with my Sephora points), despite swearing by their skincare. You can imagine how excited I was when I received a package stocked with a few of their new beauty products recently (yes, I may have squealed). I have to say, I am very very impressed, and not only by the super cute spring influenced packaging.

Clinique All About Shadow Primer For Eyes (01 Very Fair) - I have been using this for the past week and absolutely love it. I've tried a handful of eye primers that have all ended up collecting dust at the back of my bathroom cabinet. The Clinique All About Shadow Primer For Eyes is like velvet to the touch and seems to set instantly after I'd used my fingertips to spread it across the lid. It created a very smooth canvas, preventing my shadow to crease for the whole day, which I always struggled with. I'd even go so far as to wear it by itself. What can I say? I'm sold.

Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes (12 Massive Midnight) - I'd heard amazing things about the Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Balm that I just had to give the Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes a go. This Stick applies like a cream, yet feels like a shadow. It was super easy to apply straight onto the lid and the colour is effortlessly intensified by layering. After applying, I used a blending brush to spread the shadow and an angled brush to apply under the lid. I wore it all day, yet there were no signs of it budging, fading or creasing. Needless to say, I know what I'll be wearing on my next night out!

I often find that I shy away from shiny beauty counters in Myer and David Jones because, well, they're usually out of my price range, but surprising this is all an illusion. I was surprised to find that both of these Clinique products are highly affordable for around the $20 mark (both worth far above that in my opinion).
