STEVE MADDEN STYLE CRUSH - GLADLY
I couldn't even begin to tell you how excited I was to finally share with you last week a project I've been working on with Steve Madden Magazine over the past month. I had an absolute blast styling three pairs of their amazing heels as apart of the Style Crush feature, from Perth to Melbourne and back again.
The first outfit, featuring the Gladly lace-up ankle boots, Brad and I shot on St. Kilda Road before the West Coast Eagles Grand Final Eve Dinner at The Pullman. It was actually one of the most challenging photo shoots we've ever done, as not only were we battling with strong gusts of wind, but also many an onlooker. Needless to say, wind, an audience and a short skirt is not an ideal combination when trying to be as graceful and effortless as possible.
On the bright side, I received a bunch of compliments on my dress at the event, all of which belong to Nicola Finetti and GlamCorner. As a natural red head, I avoid wearing orange like the plague, but I couldn't resist Finetti's bold abstract print, which is perfectly balanced. Plus, you know how much I love a high neckline with a short hemline.
On a completely different tangent, I can not believe my birthday is next week! Seriously, this year is absolutely flying past, which is both scary and exciting.
