STEVE MADDEN STYLE CRUSH - TRAPED

Some days you struggle to take good snaps, yet other days it's impossible to narrow it down to a just a few because, well, they're just too damn good. Thank goodness that in this case, it was the latter. My editing process is fairly simple: I flick through the uploaded images from a shoot on Preview, delete the ones I don't like (nobody needs to see my double chin) and enhance the remaining few in Photoshop CS6. You know you and your photographer were 'in the zone' when you're left with 30 or 40 shots that you really like. The hard part then is to narrow it down again to the photos you really really like.

In this case, the conditions were absolutely perfect. I was somewhat stressed, as I knew I had to get the photographs that day in order to meet a deadline, yet we'd arrived to the location just before midday (also known as the worst time to shoot, generally). Despite the high sun, it was partly cloudy, which made for bright yet soft lighting - hallelujah! These perfect conditions combined with Brad's natural photographic ability made for some pretty sweet images, if you ask me.

The bold hue, striking black and white, and various textures including the simple but brilliant mesh inserts of the Shilla tee seemed even more amplified by the illuminated natural light. And I have to say, this has to be my absolute favourite Steve Madden Style Crush look. This outfit screams my name, with it's sport-luxe inspired inserts, leather joggers and super comfy Traped wedges.

Needless to say, I found it incredibly difficult to narrow it down to even 10 photographs.
