WANDERLUST

Yep, I'm excited. Excited for what you ask? Well, you know, it could have something to do with the fact that Brad and I depart for our next big adventure abroad next week. While our trip begins in vibrant Singapore where we'll no doubt consume an array of cocktails, shop til' we drop (just kidding Bradley, kind of) and explore the delights of Sentosa Island, we'll be spending the majority of our time in Japan, a country that has been on my wanderlust list for a very long time.

You may or not know, but both Brad and I are an avid snowboarders, which is quite the challenge when you live in sunny Perth. And so we often find ourselves in winter during summer (if you get what I'm saying), wearing beanies and thermals in place of bikinis and denim cut-offs. We'll be heading up to Niseko this time 'round and I have a feeling the pow pow (snow) there is going to blow our minds. Yeah, I'm not excited at all [says whilst practically jumping out of her seat].

I bought these super bright beanies from Tobi in preparation for the minus-something weather, deliberately adding the neon pink to my cart to ensure I actually look like a female in my gangster snowboarding get-up (there has been some confusion in the past, because you know, girls don't go in the park).

And don't you worry, I'll be documenting every experience right here on Lion in the Wild, thanks to this shiny new addition. Bring it on!
