WELCOME TO THE TEAM

Unbeknownst to me on the day of its purchase (thanks Mum and Dad!), my 2008 white Macbook would become a constant companion throughout my university years and beyond. Describing a piece of technology as a friend may bring to light my inner (Apple) geek and be seen as completely ridiculous, but it has seen me through the most monumental years of my life so far. It has stored thousands of photographs, witnessed conversations and kept me company during every sleepless night during the completion of my degree - all fond memories that will last forever. But as time went on, the Macbook became slow, ignorant and energy-lacking (literally, the battery failed). We were together for six beautiful years, but we both knew it couldn't last forever.

Please hold your applause as I introduce the newest member of the Lion in the Wild team, my spankin' new 13" Macbook Pro. I absolutely can not wait to take it with me everywhere I go, including some pretty exciting destinations coming up oh-so soon.
