RAIN AND SUNSHINE

Dressing for weather that just can't make its mind up.
________

The weather this week can't seem to make its mind up in Perth; one moment the sky is a perfect shade of blue and the next, a dark shade of grey. Between the downpours and sunshine, its becoming quite the challenge figuring out what the heck to wear day-to-day. Light layers, short hemlines and boots seem to be my go-to over the last few days, along with this fabulous faux fur coat from Shilla, which I can't seem to leave the house without. After all, who could survive the coming winter without a massive cosy fur thing on your back? Not me.

Brad and I have been so busy lately, running errands, signing contracts for our new house, and spending time with family and friends. Yesterday we finally completed the Pre-Start for the house we're building, after a few hiccups during the design process (we had to get it just right). Before we know it now, the site works will begin and the walls will start going up, which is actually quite exciting. Coastal living, here we come!

I'm hoping that with Pre-Start complete, life won't be as hectic from here on in. But then again, probably not. Hopeful wishing I think! Better to be busy than bored, right?
