Winter Skin Care #2: Grown Alchemist

A new generation of organic skin care.

________

Following on from Part One of the Lion in the Wild Winter Skin Care series, I'm sharing with you another of my favourite beauty brands, Grown Alchemist. As the name suggests, Grown Alchemist are all about organic products, and boy-oh-boy they do it very well. With all products being Ecocert and Australian Certified Organic, not to mention its environmentally friendly packaging that's sure to add sophistication to your bathroom, I'm most certaintly on-board.

Grown Alchemist Polishing Facial Exfoliant

The first thing taht struck me about this Polishing Exfoliant is its super fine particles, which I admit I was hesitant about at first because I thought it just wouldn't 'do the job', but I was happily proven wrong. As soon as I'd begun massaging the Exfoliant onto my damp facial skin, neck and décolletage, I realised that this was a gentle skin polisher that worked, leaving my delicate skin feeling smooth and soft, ready for moisturising. It didn't scratch or damage the skin, which can be hard to achieve with a typical exfoliant.
Tip: It works wonders on the back of hands too, as directed by Grown Alchemist.

Grown Alchemist Body Cleanser

I'll confess to completely ignoring the rest of my body when it comes to winter skin care, which often leaves my arms and legs dry and flakey (eep!). I've recently ditched a bar of soap for the grown Alchemist Body Cleanser, which not only thoroughly cleans skin, but also conditions and tones, without that typical after-shower dryness. With a long list of bioactive ingredients, aromatic properties, antioxidents and essential fatty acids, skin is left feeling smooth and healthy.
Tip: Pump a little into a running, warm bath, and sit back and relax while the organic ingredients work their magic!

Grown Alchemist Body Treatment Oil

This bottle of goodness leaves skin feeling well and truly pampered. Post-shower, I apply a generous amount of oil onto typicall dry areas on my body, such as elbows, knees and heels. This stuff absorbs super quick too, so don't be shy. I've found this is great to use leading up to tanning (from a bottle) as well, since dry-prine areas are smoothed and softened, making your tan just that little more natural without the random dark patches (elbows, I'm looking at you).
Tip: Grab the BF/hubby because the Body Treatment Oil also doubles as a luxurious massage oil. Score!
