A Light and Casual Summer Style
Dressing for the heat with Target.

I'm so excited to share with you another look in collaboration with Target today! With the weather only getting warmer in Australia, I wanted to create a light and casual summer outfit, without lacking style, which can be extremely tempting when it's boiling hot outside and all you want to do is a) strip down to only your underwear, b) plant yourself inside under an air-con vent on full-blast, or c) drink cocktails at your very own private swim-up bar (option c, thank you!).
When it comes to summer dressing, I much prefer breezy, light-fitting garments (who am I kidding? I always prefer oversized pieces!), which is why I gravitated towards this A-line shirt dress that I buttoned-up all the way. To add a little more shape, as well as conveniently carrying a thin layer for those cooler nights, I tied a lightweight cardigan around my waist; win-win! Two of my favourite pieces include the chic structured cross body bag and on-trend white slides, both of which make this look a memorable and stylish statement.
