From the Beach to Date Night with Alohas

My most important must-have summer essential...

________

... apart from sunscreen and a big bottle of water, is a comfy slip-on sandal; something I've lacked for the last few summers (ahem, apart from my not-so-stylish thongs/flip-flops). When most of my time is spent between home and the beach, it's crucial to have something that'll walk a mile without rubbing, as well as being easy to slip-off when you finally reach the warm sand. Who has time to undo laces and straps anyway?

That's where Alohas Sandals comes in and saves the day. With their slide-on style that includes a comfy back strap, these are the perfect sandals for a hot summer's day. While they're super comfy and stylish, what I love about them is that they allow my foot to breathe, thanks to the use of soft leather and a savvy open toe design, without actually showing your toes (okay, you might have to look at the photos to decipher that one).

I wanted to show you two outfits I styled with the Alohas, which I've been wearing constantly since they arrived at my door, just in-time for the onslaught of perfectly sunny 30-something degree Celsius days here in Perth (if you want to see what flawless weather is like, I suggest typing 'Perth weather' into Google). So far, my white Alohas have taken me on a walk along the coast to a number of [painted] exotic locations, also known as a casual date night with Brad, both of which included a t-shirt dress and denim jacket tied around the waist. Just incase you can't tell, this is one of my favourite combinations at the moment.

Which is your favourite Alohas look?
